Lorie has extensive experience in Professional Recruiting, Business Development, Career Coaching, Outplacement and Training. In addition to serving on CTC’s Board of Directors, Lorie teaches some of our west side Job Search Techniques classes.
In 1998 she formed her own business, Milano Human Resource Services, which offers professional recruiting and talent acquisition for companies throughout Greater Cleveland and Akron. Lorie develops comprehensive partnerships with clients to effectively attract candidates who match not only experience requirements but also company culture.
Other expertise includes advising hiring managers regarding employment market trends and hiring process improvements. For job seekers and prospective candidates, Lorie offers guidance with job transition, documentation, marketing plan development and execution, coaching and motivation throughout the process.
She also serves as a Career Services Consultant for Lorain County Community College with the internship program and is a lead facilitator for a networking group at St. Albert the Great in North Royalton. Lorie holds a BA degree in Psychology from Miami University of Ohio and is a Certified Personnel Consultant.
